Swifter
Swifter was one of the last tracks I have made in Cubase in a while. It used analogue samples, paired with digital synthesizers and post-effects, as well as some of the most automation I had done up until this point.
Mania
Mania was a different kind of experiment for me, rather than focusing on trying to make something in particular, I just let the ideas flow forth, and I feel it came together pretty well. There is a jarring shift, meant to symbolize the rapid shifts of focus and energy that can happen when experiencing mania first-hand.
Soundcheck
Soundcheck was one of my first released experiments with chiptune-style music. Every sound in the song has been designed in a synthesizer, rather than using samples for percussion, in an attempt to emulate what many older machines did.
